The community centre is available for use during the following hours:
Monday to Friday 08:30am until 10:30pm
Saturday 08:30am until 11:00pm
The centre is fully available to non religious groups as is shown by our regular customers. As to use by non Christian groups, the point has not arisen due to the minimal numbers of other religions within the community. Should it arise any request would be considered individually.
Our only limitations on hall usage are:
We have a no smoking policy.
We do not at present have a licence for alcohol.
We are not equipped for martial arts classes, ( safety mats etc).
As we also have a catering facility, the centre is used for:
Birthday parties
Team Meetings (Social services, NHS etc)
Local meetings (Haydock in Partnership , Merseyfest etc)
Funeral buffets
Public Meetings (NHS etc)
Health Days
In future we also plan to start: Parenting classes An afternoon tea dance Regular courses on money management. Cake decorating classes Flower arrangement classes. Citizenship classes for young people.
