YOUTH PASTOR

I am married to Lance and have two sons, Christopher and Philip.

I have been a church-goer all of my life. I left the Catholic church 15 years ago and joined Haydock Christian Fellowship.

Other Activities

I am one of three Trustees of Chernobyl Christian Care - a charity which sends aid to eastern Europe. I have been to Belarus and Maldova to meet with the partners that receive the aid. The Charity has a shop in Haydock.

I am also a Captain of 1st Appley Bridge Girls Brigade.

I enjoy flower arranging. My favourite time of year is Christmas. I love the preparation, decorations, carols and smells but not the shopping.

Responsibilities

My main responsibilities are to support and work with our local schools in a pastoral role and to develop outreach opportunities for young people and their families to engage with Christians and to hear the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I provide a Christian input to local schools by delivering assemblies. Once a week I facilitate a Scripture Union club at Haydock Sports College. I envisage developing my work in schools further.

I enjoy networking with other people and attending meetings and seminars. It is always encouraging to make new contacts and gain new ideas.
